 핀란드인으로부터 받은 메일들중 하나

10여년전 길에서 우연히 만난 핀란드인

굳이 beef 를 먹고싶다고 찾는데, 도와주고

(두리번거리는 외국인만 보면 도와줄까요? 하고 친절모드로ㅎㅎ)

몇번 이메일로 소식만 주고 받았는데,

그중 하나 올려봅니다.매형이 파일럿이라고

하니, 같은직업이셨던 하늘이님 남편님 떠오르네요~^^

Hi,

Time sure does fly!

Very nice to hear from and I truly apologize for not
getting back to you earlier. Quite frankly, I've
simply been overloaded with work having been involved
in a major project for the last two years. Oh well,
the first year was very interesting, though. But now
I'm searching for a lighter job, because I havent't
had the time or energy to take care of relationships
enough.

Meanwhile, I have made two good trips to South Asia.
Myanmar, Cambodia and Sri Lanka I visited for the
first time, and enjoyed them a lot.

It's about 0 degrees centigrade now in Helsinki and
there's some snow, which is melting away as I speak.
And it's 3 o'clock and already getting dark.

I'm very pleased to hear about the successes in your
family. And glad to know you're having a happy period
in life.

My mother just came back from a holiday in Thailand
and my sister's family bought a new, bigger house
that's really nice.

As for Xmas, I'm going to visit my aunt and cousin in
San Diego, California. She's got a on e-year-old baby
boy with a Finnish husband.

Finnair will open a direct flight to Seoul next
summer, which my sister's husband will most probaly
occassionally fly, as well. Many more Finnish tourists
to Korea are to be expected. And, I too, would like
visit again, sometime. I'm sure there'll be excellent
deals available, just like to other Finnair's
destinations in the Orient.
