Dear Cherished Brother,

When you passed away last year, I was very very shocked by your sudden death.
It left an empty space in our family.
It's difficult for me to think that today it has been one year since your passing.
At that time last year, I had given up all my English studies because I thought that kind of study was meaningless for me.
I was very happy when you encouraged me to study English when you lived in New York.
I e-mailed you using the wrong grammar, though.

Also, you were always a kind man to our family.
You were even kind to those who were not family members.
I will respect you always. Your kindness and humility touched me.
I 'll copy your good characteristics.
Now I've changed my mind again and decided to pursue studying English more and more.
If I perservere I'll be a winner in the use of the English language someday, like you.
I think that is a wise choice!
