Hello Seon Ja,
How are you? I hope everything is good. Here are some pictures I took.
I went to Seoul Sunday morning. We got Monday and Tuesday off for Arbour Day. It's a Korean holiday so people can go into the country to plant trees. I took the bullet train, it's called the KTX. At one point I couldn't believe how fast the telephone polls were passing by. I wrote "km/h ?" on a piece of paper and showed the conductor. He told me we were going 300 km/h. (180 mph) The zoo in Seoul has great animals, lots I had never seen before or even heard of. I spent the afternoon there but even at that had to hurry to see everything.
One of the other pictures shows some of the teachers I work with. We had a going away supper for the girl on the left, her contract was over so she was going back to Winnipeg. Note the mushroom soup. It has a layer of baked bread over the bowl; very good.
The rest are from a temple not far from where I live, it's called Wonhyosa. It's in the mountains but you can take a city bus there. It's a good place to do some hiking.
Have a good day,
Dominique
