하늘나라 간 오빠의 1주기를 맞아 오빠가
이세상에 없지만 미국땅에 묻혀있으니
이왕이영문편지 라도 하번 써볼까 하고
오빠를 향해 몇줄 썼는데 문장좀 봐 달랬더니,
오랫만의 메일로 미안 하다고, 지금이라도 봐줄까라는 답장.

I am very very sorry that I did not reply to this e-mail.
I have had a very difficult time lately.
My cousin who has cancer, got very sick before chrstmas
and went into a coma (do you know that word?) at New Years.
She died on february 4.
So lately I have been spending a lot of time with her parents
and brothers and they live a long way from my home,
so I haven't been e-mailing for 2 months.
I am very sorry. If it is not too late I will edit your words today...
Sorry I could not do it for you earlier.
