Dear Seong-ja,

I hope that you are feeling better now. It is not good to be sick for too long. Did you visit the doctor to get some medication to help you?

I had another class with Cho Me-young and Kim Hye-won today. They are enthusiastic students and I think that they are also good teachers at their schools. Today we talked about families and they took turns to tell us about the members of their own families.

We are holding our classes in Kim Hye-won's house. She has two dogs. one is an Alaskan Malamute and is an absolutely gorgeous dog. Malamutes are big dogs but, usually, ever so friendly. Hye-won's Malamute is a friendly dog. I am not sure what the breed of her other dog is. It is difficult to tell. It might be what is called a 'Bitzer' - that means 'a bit of this and a bit of that', or a dog of no clear pedigree.

Cho Me-young also has a dog, a Cocker Spaniel, so we will have a lot to talk about when we talk about animals and pets. I like dogs, although I do prefer cats. My father's family used to breed dogs in England and in New Zealand for a little while, but they thought the gene pool was too small in New Zealand at that time. Also, my mother's family have always liked dogs and have had many dogs over the years.

I am coming to Jeonju every day this week, until Friday, Seongja, so I hope that you may be well enough to have a visitor come to see you at home one. Maybe on Thursday after I have have finished my class for the afternoon? Please tell me if you will be well enough. I hope so.

Take care and get well soon.

Warmest regards,

Paul
